What Is Zen Meditation?
Zazen (seated meditation) is a traditional Buddhist practice of sitting quietly, aligning posture and breath, and calming the mind.
Once practiced by Zen monks to attain enlightenment, today it is embraced worldwide as a method of mindfulness and inner balance.
The essence of zazen lies in sitting upright in a tranquil environment, focusing on breathing, and simply being present.
Rather than rejecting wandering thoughts, practitioners let them flow away — discovering a clarity and stillness rarely found in daily life.
In recent years, zazen has gained global recognition for its benefits in mindfulness, stress management, and focus, and is even practiced by business leaders and athletes alike.
